Over the past 23 years, Ricardo Orozco Arce has been an innovator in the hospitality and service industry. Currently holding the position of Managing Director of Solmar Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Orozco Arce oversees the entire collection of properties including Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa, The Ridge Luxury Villas, Solmar Resort, Quinta del Sol by Solmar and the launch of the newest property, Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort & Spa, scheduled to open in 2011. Prior to his position at Solmar Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Orozco Arce assisted in launching the new luxury boutique property, La Mision in Loreto, Mexico and was previously the Corporate Director for The Villa Group properties in Los Cabos.

Experience in the hospitality industry has given Mr. Orozco Arce the ability to generate and create new business models, successfully manage timeshare properties as well as run the various operations that are needed to make these projects run successfully. Mr. Orozco Arce additionally has vast domestic and international expertise in sales and marketing, food & beverage and property management. Mr. Orozco Arce graduated from Cornell University’s Hotel School.

Jean Louis Magron, General Manager of Grand Solmar Land’s End resort & Spa boasts a 20-year career in the hospitality and services industry. With specialization in overseeing hotels in Mexico, Mr. Magron presents an innovative approach to hotel management.

Boasting a 20-year career in the hospitality and food and beverage industries, Mr. Magron brings to the table a variety of viable skills in preparing for Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort & Spa’s official opening. Prior to his current position, Mr. Magron acted as General Manager to a number of deluxe properties throughout Mexico where he administered the various daily activities and all hotel operations. Early in his career, Mr. Magron practiced and learned all facets of the hospitality industry at universities and establishments at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York and the School of Gastronomy, St. Moritz, and School of Hotel Management, Zurich, Switzerland

Most recently Mr. Magron managed different facets of Villa del Arco Beach Resort and Spa, Dreams Los Cabos, Hilton Los Cabos and Casa Natalia. This is Mr. Magron’s second time as part of the Solmar Hotels & Resorts team as he was the Operational Advisor to the Owners for Solmar Suites and Playa Grande in 2003.
